TORNILLERÍA INDUSTRIAL, a family-owned business in Barcelona, was founded in 1979, in response to the increasing demand by the Spanish construction industry.
After years of successful growth in different industrial sectors, the company initiated a program of international expansion. Accompanied by constant quality developments which led the company to receive product approvals and certifications, thus permitting us to enter new specialisation markets.

The company moves to the new facilities in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda where we managed to increase productivity thanks to the increase in storage capacity . We also strengthen our quality control processes.
NINGBO FATOR FASTENER is founded in China with the aim of consolidating and supervising the network of subcontractors, as well as establishing a HUB for the management of global projects.
The company opened TI METAL FORGINGS in Malaysia to increase production capacity and to strengthen the group's presence and logistics capacity in the Asian market.
FATOR FASTENERS USA was opened with the objective of offering our products to the North American market and to support our international customers. This allowed us to meet the growing demand for FATOR products in various industrial and manufacturing companies.
Project promoted by the CDTI, aimed to improve logistics processes and strengthening its technological capacity. The commitment was made to obtain a total unified warehouse management and the implementation of specialized tools that would allow real-time monitoring of movements and resources. These pillars would allow the automation of processes, streamlining order preparation flows, greater control of inputs and outputs, and better use of stock and space.
The implementation of new machines enables the expansion of the manufacturing range, adding new products such as U-Bolts and rivets. This has resulted in a production capacity of 2500 MT/month for steel products, 300 MT/month for hot-dip galvanized products, and 24 MT/month for aluminum parts.
The group experiences a significant increase in business volume and decides to streng then its administrative and management capacity by implementing SAP as the new ERP system.
The growing demand from our global customers creates new logistical and resource challenges that make the FATOR Group constantly expanding.
