Fator's commitment to supplying high-quality fasteners begins with extensive controls throughout the manufacturing process and culminates in final product validation in our own testing laboratory. All Fator products bear traceability codes that allow tracking of the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials to the finished product. Our laboratory performs mechanical and chemical tests to ensure product conformity and issue the final certificate.
Our laboratory has the following equipment:
- Universal testing equipment, 600 KN tensile-compressive force with a video extensometer for calculating the elastic limit and elongation of the material.
- Spark emission spectrometer for chemical analysis of carbon steels and stainless steels.
- Test bench for preload suitability according to EN 14339-2 (torsion)
- Hrc-Hrb durometer.
- Profile projector for dimensional controls.
- Metallographic cutter for sample preparation.
- Coating thickness measuring equipment.
- Go/no-go gauges for dimensional control of threads.
We also perform customized product tests upon request, such as fatigue, torsion, bending, creep, and metallographic studies, on any product, whether as a single unit, a prototype, or in special fastening systems. Our technical and quality team offers clients, based on their specific needs and product characteristics, product advice, troubleshooting, analysis, specific materials testing, and studies and development of new and existing projects.
